With a passion for gemstones and a love for the art of gem cutting, we embarked on an exciting journey back in 2014. At that time, the gemstone market in Vietnam was teeming with stunning rubies, sapphires, spinels, Aquamarines, and Peridots of exceptional colors and top-notch quality. However, we were disheartened to discover that these precious stones were being poorly cut. Many of them suffered from misshapen forms, uneven bottoms, and the dreaded windowing effect. The root cause of this issue was the limited gem cutting techniques in Vietnam, with basic machinery and tools that lacked finesse and precision. Additionally, the cutters were more focused on maximizing the stone's weight rather than achieving the necessary refinement and elegance.

Determined to bring about positive change, Vesta took the initiative. Our aim was to enhance the beauty of gemstones in Vietnam by ensuring they were cut with utmost precision and allure. Recognizing the importance of transforming the mindset of gem cutters, we encouraged them to cut stones in a way that truly showcased their exceptional beauty. We also sought to shift the perspective of businesses within the industry, urging them to trade in exquisitely cut and visually captivating gemstones. Furthermore, we aspired to change the perception of consumers, so they would come to appreciate and desire the resplendence of the gemstones we presented.

In 2015, we laid the foundation for technological advancements in high-precision faceting. Through extensive research and self-exploration, we delved into the realm of precision cut, the gold standard in gem cutting. Armed with our meticulously designed high-precision faceting machines and profound knowledge of precision cut techniques, we began introducing breathtaking gemstones to the market. Concurrently, we established training programs in Vietnam, educating gem cutters on precision cut standards, empowering them with the technical expertise and professional acumen required to excel in the gem cutting industry. We also provided them with high-precision faceting machines, enabling them to elevate the quality of their craftsmanship.
